Re: Release name for Arch

If you were to draw the cheese for the Arch logo, how would it be drawn? Likely as a wedge of swiss to denote it as cheese. Anyway, Cheesy just doesn't hit home for me on this one.

Re: Release name for Arch

As was said a bunch of times on the mailing list, I don't think it really matters what the code name is.  At the end of the day its still Arch.  So stupid name or not, its no big deal, its the same distro.

I suggested the following a long time back:

orca   or orcah(has arch orca)

Re: Release name for Arch

If we're going to make fun of them ridiculous Ubuntu release names, we could try Fluffy Figtree... lol

Otherwise, I'd go with the original suggestion "Aurora".

Re: Release name for Arch

If Aurora is the name of the next Arch, why not bundle it with a nice WM, wine with a pre-installed Office 2000 (tm) suite ?

We also would need a browser that do not respects the standarts as i have been told that looking like a rebels help getting market shares.

(more seriously, i really like Templar)

+1 for that one, but just because there's a beer brand with that name in switzerland.

I still prefer "Crunchy Frog".

Haven't been here in a while. Still rocking Arch. smile
