Updating php56 and subpackages

After running

yaourt -Syu --aur

and updating the first package in the list retrieved, the php56 package, it askes me to update the following package, which is php56-apache, I then receive the following output

loading packages...
warning: php56-5.6.30-1 is up to date -- reinstalling
warning: php56-apache-5.6.30-1 is up to date -- reinstalling
warning: php56-cgi-5.6.30-1 is up to date -- reinstalling

warning: php56-tidy-5.6.30-1 is up to date -- reinstalling
warning: php56-xsl-5.6.30-1 is up to date -- reinstalling

and when confirming I get:

==> Continue installing php56 ? [Y/n]
==> [v]iew package contents [c]heck package with namcap
==> ---------------------------------------------------
==>

Updating php56 package takes a pretty long time as it, as I understand it, recompiles php.
It then recompiles php everytime I upgrade the following subpackage.

Is this the normal process or do I only need the php56 package?

Re: Updating php56 and subpackages

If they are all part of the same base package (which they are from a quick check) only installing the php56 package should be enough (it will technically include all of them anyway, and they won't show up on subsequent -Syu's) yaourt doesn't really resolve split packages correctly you might want to try an AUR helper with better split package support if this behaviour annoys you (like pacaur)
