Hi all,
Since a few weeks, Flash does not play any sound in Firefox. Flash is installed through package flashplugin 25.0.0.127-1. The wiki mentions it could be an issue with the default sound card, but this does not seem to be the case for me:
aplay -l
**** Liste des Périphériques Matériels PLAYBACK ****
carte 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], périphérique 0: CX20724 Analog [CX20724 Analog]
Sous-périphériques: 0/1
Sous-périphérique #0: subdevice #0
carte 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], périphérique 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
Sous-périphériques: 1/1
Sous-périphérique #0: subdevice #0
carte 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], périphérique 7: HDMI 1 [HDMI 1]
Sous-périphériques: 1/1

carte 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], périphérique 8: HDMI 2 [HDMI 2]
Sous-périphériques: 1/1

I get this issue on two different laptops running Arch. However, Chromium is not affected, sound is OK there.
Any idea ?

Do you use pulseaudio, is pulseaudio-alsa installed? If yes and no, do that and reboot and retry. If it still doesn't work post
aplay -L
sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*
while sound doesn't work from attempting to play something

Firefox 52 went pulseaudio only, maybe related.
