Hi!
After update my system I don't have 1920x1080 16:9 resolution.
I've got only 4:3 resoltions or 3840x2160 (16:9).
I'm changing it using gnome settings and I want add there 1920x1080.
How Can I do this?
After add resolution manualy in case every reboot I have to do this again:
xrandr --newmode "1920x1080_60.00" 60.00 1920 2048 2256 2592 1080 1201 1204 1242 -HSync +Vsync
xrandr --addmode eDP-1 1920x1080_60.00
xrandr --output eDP-1 --mode 1920x1080_60.00

Please don't bump, it's against forum policy.
As usual the answer can be found in the wiki...

first you can make it a script and run it.
and second i'm sure gnome have the ability to run scripts on start.

Also not an answer to your question, but maybe to your problem: Is there a reason you want to run in only half the resolution instead of running in full resolution and use GNOME's DPI scaling?
