[SOLVED]Chrome Flash is out of date

After update chrome to 54.0.2840.59. The flash player is not working. The plugins shows Adobe Flash Player is out of date. I can't get any useful solution from wiki or google. Thanks for any help.

Solution: The new version chrome no longer included flash. We need to open chrome://components/ and click Check for update to download it!

Re: [SOLVED]Chrome Flash is out of date

So update your flash plugin. Note that chrome no longer includes the flash plugin.

Edit: Nevermind, it appears you have the latest version. Looks like a problem with the web page.

Edit2: I'm guessing "Location:    internal-not-yet-present" means you haven't downloaded it yet. As I mentioned, it's no longer included and must be downloaded when needed.

Hey, you solved it? I meet the same problem.

What's worse, I cannot update it on chrome://components.

Yet I downloaded latest version, put them in /opt/google/chrome, but doesn't work.

If you are in China now, you must cross the GFW to update flash.
You can run this in terminal:

google-chrome-stable --proxy-server="socks5://127.0.0.1:1080"

and then, update or download flash as usual. smile
