FGLRX & radeon loaded

Hi,

I installed catalyst-test from the AUR (closed source driver). can get to a GUI fine, but the GUI is a little big (gnome3). I investigated to find that both the radeon  module and fglrx_pci module are both loaded,

lspci -kk

Kernel driver in use: fglrx_pci
Kernel modules: radeon, fglrx

/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

blacklist radeon
blacklist radeonhd

/etc/default/gub

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="nomodeset"

rebuilt my initramfs

mkinitcpio -p linux

I have no idea what else I can do. . Still shows both in use.

Re: FGLRX & radeon loaded

It  says "kernel driver in use fglrx_pci" whatever your problem is this isn't it, the second line just shows technically available modules. Only fglrx is used and loaded.
