Hi,
Whatever mirror that I use, the download speed tend 0 kb/s when downloading community.db approachs to 99%.
Tried several mirrors but with same behavior
Tried set XferCommand in pacman.conf to use curl or wget but the problem persists
Is there any other thing I can try to solve this problem?
thanks

hello,
I'm not using ftp.archlinux.org mirror.
actually my mirrorlist is (but tried with many other countries):

Did you actually read the link? It is to the pacman-optimise section...

Yes, I read.
But the problem is download speed, not database access speed.
I keep my pacman optimised running pacman-optimised after clean cache.
