Install grub a new from running system

Is it possible to iinstall and update/reinstall grub from a running Arch installation?  I installed an Ubuntu beta system that obviously reinstalled grub, but has assigned wrong UUIDs to the Arch partition.  I would like to install grub, and abandon the Ubuntu.

Yes. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GRUB#Installation

If you try it and have more specific questions, ask.

Yes, you can. Is this a BIOS or UEFI based system? That affects exactly how to do it but Grub isn't doing any thing after it loads the kernel at boot.
