Hi,
I honestly don't know exactly when this happened, as I only noticed it yesterday:
When using any browser to watch videos on youtube, I noticed extremely weird numbers, see partial screenshot:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2zjM1 … sp=sharing
While the font itself is ok, the numbers are completely weird, not bold, and seem to be somewhat different in height.
In short: it looks extremely annoying.
This happens in Chromium, Firefox, Midori; Also independet of DE
After noticing it does NOT happen in tor-browser (because it's not using system fonts?), I removed the noto-fonts package.
Interestingly, this lead to the numbers being displayed correctly again. Of course this is not a solution, as noto-fonts is required for KDE Plasma.
Also, I like that font.
Does anybody have any idea how to fix this? Or what could cause this bug?
Thanks in advance,
Marius

I was having this problem today and "solved" it by removing noto-fonts, but I have the advantage of not running KDE.
However, this is discussed in this reddit post. I haven't tried the suggestions there, but they might work. Anyway, from the lower posts, this is a known issue and it will likely be solved by Google (who both owns YouTube, and created the Noto fonts) if you just "wait".
