Problems with KDE

Hi

I wanted to try KDE again, but I´m running into some problems.

1. How can I use my sidebuttons in Konqueror for moving back and forward?
imwheel is installed and its working fine in Firefox.

2. I´m using a german keyboard, but one key is always wrong. Instead of "´" I get "Ž". It is working fine in xfce, gnome etc.

I hope somebody got an idea how to fix this.

2: do you press the key and a Z to get the sign, or does it come up immediately when you press the key? Are you sure you're using the right keymap (not consolekeymap, look in /etc/X11/xorg.conf)

I am pressing just the key.
my xorg.conf  section looks like this.

    Option "AutoRepeat" "500 30"
    Option "XkbRules"   "xorg"
    Option "XkbModel"   "pc105"
    Option "XkbLayout"  "de"
    Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"

It must be KDE related, cause all other Desktop Env. are working

Have you tried looking in the keyboard part in kcontrol? Perhaps KDE has it's own configuration of your keyboard, I know it's possible...

do you have the kde locale pack installed?

sudo pacman -S kde-i18n-de

yes the german package is installed and everything is in german.

But what about the other issue?
Has anyone got their mouse sidebuttons working in Konqueror?
