Cannot write a certain character in dhivehi language on gnome

While using gnome I cannot write the character  ޮ   which is written by clicking o on keyboard. However if i switch to KDE i can write it in libreoffice but not on chrome etc..

You must give more information. What's the unicode value of this character and what language is it? Check that you are using an UTF8 locale. Check also that you have the correct fonts, see: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/fonts.

Also Gnome uses its own locale settings, make sure that they are set correctly.

Fixed by removing input method and adding it back
