How does the game run on linux through wine/playonlinux?
I know some people have mentioned slight sluggishness and lag playing moba games through wine, so was wondering how everyone's experience is like with AoE2.
In addition, does Voobly run well on linux through wine? or are there certain really annoying nuiances?

I think that depends on your configuration with Wine. Personally I haven't tried Wine for years but with the Age of Empires 2 Conquerors game it did however worked fine for me - it might be better now with the latest wine version though I'm not at all going to install wine on my system since I prefer native game clients like steam for Linux without emulation software's. There might of been some wine issues but can't remember what....
