[SOLVED] DKMS Module Installation Fails

Hi,
I've been trying to get Anbox to work. Everything installed perfectly except for the dkms modules. I have a custom kernel and this might be the issue. But the log seems to suggest otherwise. I have several offline applications that I would like to run through anbox. Anbox seems to work for most people but for me, i get a dkms issue instead.

TERMINAL:

$ sudo dkms autoinstall

Pretty much the same log for binder module as well. Please help.
Thanks.

Re: [SOLVED] DKMS Module Installation Fails

Looking at the coments on the aur page for anbox-modules-dkms-git it's not your kernel.

Have you tried the alternative PKGBUILD linked by subjectdenied ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Thanks for replying! But no, the difference is, they've already got past my issues (they never had the issues). I can't even get it to work at all! So, gonna try with the real kernel, was going back anyway. Careful config that took about half an hour, 3 hours for compiling, etc and no major performace gain. I certainly do NOT recommend compiling a custom kernel. tongue

Ok. This works just fine with the default kernel. Was gonna switch back anyway.
