gtkpod and names

when exporting tracks from an ipod to gtkpod- does gtkpod recognise and list the song track names and artwork on the ipod?? Also, does it have the itunes ability of getting cd track names?

I only ask 'cause i'm seriously worried about losing the info about me' songs on me' ipod...
