nicotine+ can't find GTK+ 2.24 and doesn't launch

I'm running Arch on a laptop with LXQt Desktop environment.

I was trying to install nicotine+ today but it won't launch. First I discovered that python2-gobject2, which is required, was not installed. Then, after installation, I try to launch nicotine and get the following error message:

Cannot find GTK+ 2.24.X, please install it.

Except that i have gtk2 installed. Reinstalling doesn't seems to work. Any help?

I would guess that you need pygtk, if you don't already have it. If it works after installing pygtk, please file a bug report so the maintainer knows that they've missed a dependency.
