I use Fastmail. In Evolution, the Inbox folder is OK, but the other folders, such as Archive (default Fastmail folder) or blog (a folder created by myself for some filters) are not. When I click a folder in the siderbar, Evolution shows a message above the email list window on the right, says:
Failed to refresh folder “Fastmail : blah”.
The reported error was “Error scanning changes: missing closing ')' on fetch response (got 0x2a)”.
And no message is retrieved. The list window is totally blank.
This happens when I was using Evolution 2.20.x on Funtoo. Someone in #gnome gave me this page [1], said that would solve the problem. So I moved to Arch Linux since it has Evolution 2.24.x in an official repo. But the problem is still there.
This doesn't happen on Thunderbird.
Please help me with this problem. Any thought?
