Hi,
I recently installed the Brave browser, using tha brave-bin package from aur. It works well, but does not save passwords using the internal password manager. In the output, I see lines like this:
[anders@archie ~]$ brave-bin
...
Gkr-Message: secret service operation failed: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files
Gkr-Message: secret service operation failed: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files
Gkr-Message: secret service operation failed: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files
Could not access master password; aborting
...
What would provide the org.freedesktop.secrets service requested?

It's not really a problem with aur, but an attempt to resolve what is missing to make the BROWSER work. Of course, if we manage to find out, it may be possible to add a dependancy. But I do not understand the move. Is brave browser not an application because the package is in aur?

The missing package is gnome-keyring
