This is so strange...
In the notebook that I did the formatting of the sd card, this ( error -110 whilst initialising SD card) happens with any other sd card that i use (I was trying others), however, when I insert the defect, it recognizes it, although it will not let me use it. Because it is damaged in the sector 0)
What can I do to make the sd-reader functional again?
By the way, I tried from windows (which is in the same notebook with dual boot) and nothing, either.
Could a damaged sd card also damage the sd-reader?
Could it be that the sd-reader is "locked" somehow?
Thanks!
by the way i found this
I found this
mmc0: error -22 whilst initialising SDIO card
The mmc could not be initialized for a few reasons:
The wrong or no module is loaded for your embedded device.
The device tree settings could be wrong for your mmc specs.
The hardware bus is not ready to tx/rx data.
I get this error on my device when I do not power down correctly. To fix it I do mmcinfo and other mmc commands in u-boot.
In my instance I think there is some µP state not getting reset between the bus and the mmc.
Could give me a hand??
