boot system on USB HDD in both EFI and Legacy BIOS mode?

Hi there,
Good evening from China time zone. :-)

I've a question here, that is I'd like to install Archlinux or other Linux distro onto my USB HDD, and I can install Arch on my external HDD in EFI OR BIOS mode, but I want to make it bootable in both EFI AND Legacy BIOS mode on other computers, how can I achieve this? Thanks
