Elantech touchpad right click stuck on resume

Sometimes on resume the touchpad appears to be stuck on right click. Left clicking doesn't do anything, right clicking opens the context menu, and if the cursor was in a text window (like a browser or terminal) before suspending then the cursor will be stuck selecting text.
The problem goes away after suspending again. Sometimes more than one suspend is needed.
I'm using xf86-input-libinput as the driver.

Re: Elantech touchpad right click stuck on resume

hi,

did you solve your issue?

If some one can help me, i'm having some issues too, in my case i've two major issues:
- right click is slow to respond... i hear the click but some times i've to press it multiple times until i get the context menu from the right click
- the touchpad stops responding.. the pointer is freeze, i can't click.

... and no logs reporting errors...

Re: Elantech touchpad right click stuck on resume

Hi jasonwryan, sorry.. my bad!!

I finally got the issue solved.. i remove libsynaptics, from previous updates this pkg has left behind... i don't synaptics so the solution for me was:

pacman -R libsynaptics
