[SOLVED] ACPI Errors with Acer TravelMate P459, Non-Deterministic Boot

Every time I boot, I get these errors:

[ 0.543523] ACPI Warning: Obj ffff8802639677e0, Reference Count is already zero, cannot decrement
[ 0.543524] (20160930/utdelete-442)
[ 0.543525] ACPI Warning: Obj ffff880263967c18, Reference Count is already zero, cannot decrement
[ 0.543526] (20160930/utdelete-442)
[ 0.543794] ACPI Error: Needed [Integer/String/Buffer], found [Mutex] ffff880263967c18 (20160930/exresop-450)
[ 0.543800] ACPI Error: (OpcodeName unavailable) bad operand(s), status 0x3003 (20160930/dsopcode-340)
[ 0.543805] ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_SB._OSC] (Node ffff8802650d7eb0), AE_AML_OPERAND_TYPE (20160930/psparse-543)

After that, the boot process becomes non-deterministic and the system usually panics and stops working, or it boots but crashes later or becomes unusable. If I get lucky, I can get it to run, but this is after rebooting over and over.

Turning off ACPI solves the issue, but the keyboard stops working.

I tried following this guide, but no other options removed the errors. Using pci=noacpi would hang the kernel at the GRUB loading screen.

Is this a kernel bug or is there anything I can do?

I think I may have solved the problem. The system works after doing a UEFI reinstall. The errors are gone and crashes seem to have stopped.

They still show up on the installer though, even when booting UEFI.
