[Qt5] Project ERROR: Could not find feature reduce_exports

Hi guys,

So I wanted to install appmenu-qt5-bzr from the AUR. At first it worked, I am running XFCE and had GNOME. I got rid of GNOME and appmenu-qt5-bzr got removed. I am attempting to reinstall it but it returns it with this error:

Project ERROR: Could not find feature reduce_exports.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

The error is already recorded in the AUR and covered by upstream bugs https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-58150 and https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-59834
In short: the project made use of internal API which is now gone/altered - the latter bug suggests in the last  post the prepending "load(qt_build_config)" to the .pro'ject file should suffice (but I don't know)
