laptop fan control questions

Hi,
I have some questions about laptop fans.
i own an asus laptop (Asus ROG STRIX GL502VS-FY247T)
do i need to install and configure fan software or will the bios or kernel prevent my system from overheating.
in my bios i saw a cpu fan monitor but nothing for my gpu should i install something to keep my gpu cool.
i did

sensors-detect

but it only detected my cpu not my gpu.

Hi,

I never installed any software to manage the gpu fan, it is usually managed well by the graphic card driver from my experience.

Hi,

I never installed any software to manage the gpu fan, it is usually managed well by the graphic card driver from my experience.

I  noticed something like that aswell the gpu keeps itself relatively cool.
