i've read the "installation and first steps" guide in the documentation thing, but it isn't really a walkthrough step by step giving complete examples and whatnot for newbies that don't understand what things *should* look like.
is there any such documentation to help newbies such as myself as a walkthrough, at least up to getting it so i can run pacman (my eth0 apparently isn't set up right) and i can boot into windows (i mustn't have set up grub correctly). if not, i plan on writing up my experience, as a newbie for other newbies, as i figure this stuff out. but i don't want to go thru the trouble if someone else has written something similar.
NOTE: i understand arch isn't made for newbies. the point of this post was to see if there was something available as i mentioned (in progress or complete), and if there wasn't, I was planning on writing a detailed explanation on those first installation steps. that is all. well, i hope that makes sense. hehe

Yet, our best offer is http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=2144 beneath the initial installation documentation.

Thanks to Wiki team, the walkthrough doc is now in Arch Linux Wiki including with screenshots. Some editing will still take place but ready to use.
