Trying to get my CUPS/Samba printer going. [SOLVED]

Hi,
Just reloaded a fresh install of Arch 0.7.2.  I can't get my network printer going again.  It's on lpt1 of a nearby Win-XP machine. All I can manage through the cups web interface is to get the message;

"Can not get the ticket cache for root"

I have googled. I have tried the wiki. I'm at my wits end.

Anyone got any ideas??

OK. Just found out I should have had hplip installed. I did and everything's ok now.

It's a Hp LaserJet 5p. Sorry for not including that in my original remark.

Does Guten print work for HP's?

That web-site you linked doesn't say anything about HP

Thanks,

Jim
