Today I tried connecting my laptop to my TV but noticed there HDMI device to forward the sound to...
at first I thought it is an issue related to the fact that I also have a Nvidia card in the laptop
but the after resting pulseaudio while the TV was connected the HDMI device showed up.
is there any way to have pulseaudio detect the hdmi device when I connect it to the TV without reseting pulseaudio ?
