PS3 controller does not work after resume

On first boot, my PS3 controller usually works fine with my installation. However, after a suspend/resume cycle, plugging in my PS3 controller usually yields the following journalctl entries:

Both the usbhid and joydev modules are loaded. Do you know how to fix this without rebooting?
