[solved] Freetype2-2.8 changes font rendering

I have a font issue, since I upgraded freetype2 to 2.8 from 2.7.1. I just noticed that fonts looked different, but it was really hard to exactly tell what the difference is.
So, I took some screenshots. In this screenshot, you can see the font difference for rofi, but I also notice it in gtk2 and gtk3 applications.

I looked at the changelog for freetype2, but I don't know, if there is anything there that could explain my issues.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the font I am using is DejaVu Sans. Anyhow, the only difference between the two screenshots is the freetype2 version.

Re: [solved] Freetype2-2.8 changes font rendering

Thanks, I always forget to look in the Newbie corner. I sort of solved my problem by setting the font size to 9.5 everywhere.
Fonts still look a bit different from before, but I guess I can get used to the new look.
