How to skip 'Error parsing PCC subspaces from PCCT' on boot

Hello,

I have a ThinkPad T440 and I fall into the (well-)known boot error 'Error parsing PCC subspaces from PCCT'..
According to the Bug tracker, it should be fixed now.
Is there a way to skip this error (for example, modifying grub's parameters) at boot, or should I use archiso to fix it?

Apparently it's not fixed yet. There are still new people reporting the bug with more and more BIOS and kernel versions.

I get the same error message myself. Would like to see a fix/workaround.

Does it prevent the machine from booting or is any functionality broken? As a workaround, if you don't want to see errors during boot you could change the loglevel to hide them.

I also have this "Error parsing PCC subspaces from PCCT" on boot logs. Every boot.
I have a ThinkPad W540 running the stock kernel 4.12.8.
UEFI booting with EFISTUB and only archlinux installed.
My PC boots but very often (not always) it freezes during logout or shutdown. The screen locks and I can't change VT, but the mouse moves.

What should I do to debug this error? (I will look into the freezes after all logs are clear)

The OP is wrong in linking a fedora bugtracker and claiming a resolution (there) - which does not exist.
The message is typically harmless and given your problem, highly unlikely the cause for "freezes during logout or shutdown" - notably since you still got working input.
Open a new thread and record your hardware (lspci, lsusb, lsmod) and the offending session type there. Also try the behavior with another desktop environment (I will assume you're running gdm and gnome, try openbox and startx)

Yes I am running gdm and gnome.
I disabled TLP now and freezes seem gone away. I'll monitor the situation going forward.
