Hi, Plasma 5.9.5 user here.
I noticed that after the recent upgrade, the system notifications were muted. I tried to unmute them and move the slider back to normal, but it soon slid back and muted itself.
I configured through phonon, to no avail, the output device (which is a laptop speaker).
I tried to use a different backend, didn't help either.
I suspect that I'm missing a library used in synthesising sounds for the notifications, but I have no idea what that is.
If anyone happens to know the exact answer or at least where I can find debug information, i'd be much obliged.
