Touchpad acts like a mouse

Hey guys,

I am currently using GNOME 3.24.2 on Wayland on a HP ProBook 430 G4 and I have that strange feeling that libinput thinks my touchpad is a desktop mouse. Scrolling with two fingers is working fine, scrolling on the right side of the touchpad, too, but it is "clicky". If I move my fingers slowly, it scrolls line by line, as if I am using a scroll wheel. Fast swipes are not even registered. I haven't touched a single config file and only used GNOME Settings to configure the touchpad. I've just installed (parts of) the gnome and gnome-extra group on a fresh Arch installation and enabled gdm.service. That's all. I really don't have the slightest idea why the touchpad acts so funny. Thanks for any suggestions!
