4.11.2-1 breaks physical click on Dell 3542

Hey guys.
Just updated my installation using "sudo pacman -Syyu"
As title says my touchpad physical click ,not the "tap" one, is not working any more. Both right and left side.
Tested with Windows 10 installation just to be sure it's not a hardware issue, everything working fine there.
Using latest mate with libinput and xinput.
xinput list-props throws this output : https://pastebin.com/jK62nCUZ

Anyone with this issue? Any clues what it might be wrong?

Thanks for your time. smile

Yes, it's a bug in kernel 4.11.2.
Please report it to:

I have this issue too with XPS 13 (model 9333). Reverting back to 4.10 helps. Did you report this already? If not, should I report it myself or do you want to?

I believe it's the case of a wrong driver being used. Please comment on the bug reports with your info (posted in three spots libinput team/kernel driver team/archlinux team):

I can't provide much additional info besides a "me too" on my Dell 3542 touchpad, but ironically, since the 4.11 update my bluetooth has started working.

Re: 4.11.2-1 breaks physical click on Dell 3542

Problem seems to be Arch-specific
Fedora 25 with 4.11.3 is running fine with no problems.

EDIT
using "lsmod | grep rmi" on fedora25
hid_rmi                20480  0
rmi_core               73728  1 hid_rmi

Gnome runs on wayland...hm,can anyone confirm that problem exists on wayland?!
