After update KDE doesn't start. Reason is udisks2
Error initializing libblockdev library: Failed to load plugins (g-bd-init-error-quark, 0)
Failed to start Disk Manager.
Downgrade helped.

Downgrading is a not a fix, it's a workaround. Here's the relevant bug: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/54338

You're right, wrong spelling!

There is also another bug with udisk2 2.7.0-1 : https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/54337

@fredbezies is the system reporting the following in the journal?
gvfs-udisks2-vo[872]: monitor says it's not supported

Something like this ?

Yes, indeed.

Check you have all of "dmraid parted volume_key libbytesize xfsprogs lvm2 btrfs-progs mdadm gptfdisk" installed for me not having btrfs-pogs installed caused the issue.
Edit:
"dmraid libbytesize parted volume_key" already dependencies of libblockdev 2.8-2
"gptfdisk" should be present or https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/54338 occurs
"xfsprogs lvm2 mdadm" are in the group base
"btrfs-progs" most likely candidate
Edit:
"dosfstools" as well see https://github.com/rhinstaller/libblock … /fs.c#L280

It worked for me. Looks like some depends are missing... Ouch!

After installing gptfdisk, mdadm and xfsprogs, udisks2 successfully started.
Thanks, everyone, for your help.
