I updated to Plasma 5.10.1 from 5.10.0 yesterday, and today when I log into my Plasma session, all I get is the wallpaper on one monitor, a black screen on the second monitor, no plasma panel, no plasma element at all, and I can do nothing. I tried to :
- remove all plasma config files (plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc plasmarc plasmashellrc)
- log with another user - remove everything in .config/Autostart (because this solved a similar problem recently)
- remove files in /var (because this solved a similar problem recently).
Any idea what I can do now ? Is it a known issue with 5.10.1 ? Thanks for any advice ; I'm stuck right now and I need my session back to work.
Edit : the udisks version in [testing] was the culprit.

Are you using [testing]?
Online
I have a black screen too, even if I can see my mouse cursor.
I don't use [testing] and I've tried to remove the following files in this order:
- .conf/plasma*
- .conf/kwin*
- .conf/k*
I still have the blackscreen so I've reverted these deletions.

Yes, I am.

Yes, I am.
Then it's udisks2. Downgrade it to the version in [extra]

If you're not using [testing] then yours is a different issue. Open a new thread with all relevant logs/errors.

Maybe it was not the best solution for my situation, but I have activated the "testing", updated my system and downgraded udisk.
I've rebooted and it works ![]()
