I did an update today - is it related?
Using cups-pdf's output, I only get a decent pdf-file using 300 dpi resolution in the settings. The higher I choose the resolution, the more uglier the output, meaning everything is like bold font is chosen and the letters seem unsharp.
Anyone any idea what I could have missed or what I could do to track down this behaviour? Or are there alternative applications for printing into a pdf-file instead to paper output?
I used 1200 dpi very often with cups-pdf and got reasonable small but very good results.

The problem seems to be related using Microsoft Word under wine - I can't reproduce these errors using another application (even under wine) any more. So I guess this is to special to be of interest.
I tried different wine versions (wine 2.10 and staging from 2.6 to 2.9) but this made no difference here.
Leaving or setting the output properties to 300dpi still give reasonable results with this special setup.
