Hi all,
I'm having issues with starting steam and steam-native without strictly falling back to the runtime and setting env variables.
I already wrote about my issue in #224718, but the fix of installing "steam-native-runtime" didn't help in my case.
After I contacted steam-for-linux on github [2] I got kind of a solution with setting
STEAM_RUNTIME_PREFER_HOST_LIBRARIES=0 STEAM_RUNTIME=1 steam-runtime
But otherwise, I sill have the issue.
appdatacache.cpp (2079) : Assertion Failed: !bSharedKVSymbols
Logs, Infos etc are in the links.
I'd much prefer to use the native libraries, and am hoping for help in pointing out the culprits as I so far had no Luck.
Cheers, and thanks for your effort.

The issue presists after updating.
As in #224718 a missing steam-native-runtime package was the issue, I took a look at my steam and steam-native-runtime package and dependency versions in case it could help:
pacman -Qi output
https://gist.github.com/matschi-klickme … b28eba78c9
pacman -Q on dependencies

The non-found messages for some of the packages look interesting,
error: package 'ttf-font' was not found
error: package 'lib32-libgl' was not found
error: package 'libjpeg6' was not found
error: package 'lib32-libjpeg6' was not found

For me, the problem seems to be fixed by an update within the last few days. Happy now
How about the others?
