desktop/personal wikis

Can anyone recommend a good desktop/personal wiki? I've tried Zim a little but wasn't too impressed. I don't need any collaboration, I'm just looking for something to use other than text files.

I use this one where I work as a personal organiser / info-store; the GTD variants are quite nice.
