HI AF.
I would like to know if somebody have been able to get MythTV to work???
Most of MythTV is working. The only thing missing is the Live TV. And recording??
After trying for several days - I'm at a point where i don't know what to do???
My Hardware:
Gigabyte motherboard.
Hauppauge PVR 500
ATI graphiccard with tvout.
The part where i get lost is about the setup for LiveTV?
I got the normal antenne on the roof conectet to TUNER-1 and the sataliteDish connected to compose2! I use XMLtv westeurope to get the tvlist from the internet..
But after that that's where I loose everything... I have been studying and reading almost the hole internet - and still not figuring out what and how to get on ??? Is there a friendly soul that would use some of their sparetime to explain it to me???

Have you gone through the documentation from the MythTV website? The entire installation and setup process is explained in detail there. Here's the link.

I done that a couple of times!!
And I finally got it to work - but having some problems about viewing liveTV - it doesn't fit picture/sound!!! But thats a nother problem!
Still MythTV does not explain quit good how to do it - if you just have a normal Antenne - and how to make the channels fit Xmltv. But got it!
