If you just want to tweak gamma, there's a parameter for that for "xrandr" (search through "man xrandr"), and there's "xgamma", and you can also do it through an Xorg config file.

There's also ICC stuff color calibration through the "argyllcms" package with a graphical frontend for it in the "displaycal" package. That stuff needs a colorimeter device and I think can't be used for anything useful without a colorimeter.

Please search before posting on the forum.

You can install the kgamma5 package. It will pull in the dependencies that it needs, which includes several common KDE dependencies. If that's too much, look for an alternative as suggested above. If those don't suit your needs, start here:

Re: is there a way i can get screen color callibration software on arch ?

i already installed kgamma before i posted and i couldn`t use it because i could not find it any where and i also searched how to do that and i found nothing.. i thought about the dependency issues and i checked them with pacman -Si kgamma5 and installed them manually again ( because they were already installed) and still i couldnt do anything so i thought i was doing something wrong or i`m missing something it`s why i asked

In 311y's defense that is a special case, since kgamma is a systemsettings module and thus doesn't have a readily available standalone way to launch it. You can either use

systemsettings5 #For the big collection of the available kcm's
kcmshell5 kgamma #For the more direct approach

if you dont have your monitors seperated into seperate screens in xorg.conf then even kgamma wont work for individual settings,

best solution ive found is ddcutils and gddc  however it only works on 2/3 monitors because only 2 connections are ddc on amdgpu

xgamma from extra/xorg-xgamma?

koko@Gozer# pacman -Ss gamma
extra/kgamma5 5.11.2-1 (plasma) [installed]
    Adjust your monitor's gamma settings
extra/xorg-xgamma 1.0.6-1 (xorg-apps xorg) [installed]
    Alter a monitor's gamma correction

It wasn't that hard, or am i missing something?

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xcalib/ ... color calibration is a bit more than gamma correction ;-)

and gamma calibration will drive you insane until you realize you must first color correct

perhaps wayland will give this option, along with adding display over ip (or fixing xdmx for modern gl) but the trade off will be openbox not being a thing

There is a tool i wrote in the past, it is on aur and called caled-git
Basically it expects you to produce a perfect gray shade by modifying the LUT through various "visual operators".
I think i managed to calibrate several displays with good results.

run xiccd to enumarate displays to :0.1 etc then you can set the icc with one of may diff utilities, the hard part now is getting uniform colors across all 3 monitors (close)  gonna try caled for this
