Having never worked with a co-maintainer before. Is there an expectation to use check ins on another branch that the standard AUR users do not see as ideas are shared between maintainers or is this not supported? Something akin to master vs unstable or the like. I did not see guidance on the AUR page in the wiki. Thanks for answers and other advice.

It's no different than when you maintain on two different computers. Push on one and you must merge to push or pull on the other.
