wsjtx-bin throws libgfortran error after upgrade

The AUR "wsjtx-bin" package I had installed and working just fine now throws a

wsjtx: error while loading shared libraries: libgfortran.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

error, after my system was recently updated, obviously the new gfortran package? I tried to make a symbolic link to libgfortran.so.4 but that also throws another fortran error.

Any ideas?

Re: wsjtx-bin throws libgfortran error after upgrade

Either wait for upstream to build a new binary release, or build it from source yourself.  Symlinking libraries to fix a version mismatch is always a bad idea.

EDIT: there are two other AUR packages for this same thing that build from source.
