Hello everyone,
just hooked up my laptop to a 27" screen and noticed how bad the font of my Arch actually look like. I then started MS-Word and noticed that the fonts inside MS-Word looked actually quite good.
So it seems like my Arch is having these bad fonts and I wonder why? Is it the font itself or is it my font settings?

Screenshots that probably won't tell much due to bad compression quality :S

Thanks !

the font you think looks good is Calibri, as Word tells you.

Both screenshots look good. The thing about fonts is that it's highly subjective, and also highly dependent on the hardware that the person is staring at.
As always, I recommend Infinality patches, and playing with fontconfig until one finds a good look.
