I've had this issue for some time now but it never really bothered me as I was only seeing this in qBittorrent.
I recently installed qtox and the GUI is really messed up it's not easy to read messages.
The weird thing is that it's not happening in all Qt application, for example keepassx2 works fine.
Here is some information I think is relevant
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-monitor.conf
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "<default monitor>"
DisplaySize 293 165 # monitor size given by xrandr

As you can see the scaling on some icons is really weird and messes with the GUI. qBittorrent uses qt 5.8.0 so it's not related to the recent update.
I hope I didn't mess up this post, it's my first one.

Exactly the same issue here with QBittorrent in Gnome Shell. My xrandr reports the following:
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 8192 x 8192
XWAYLAND0 connected 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 290mm x 170mm
1920x1080 59.88*+
Edit: if I do the following QBittorrent looks normal, although small (not scaled):
QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0 qbittorrent

QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0 qbittorrentThis works for me too and it actually look like it use to. Now how do I make it the default?

The only problem is, qbittorrent will not be scaled at all. I'd prefer a solution where qt software is scaled correctly so I don't have to look at the screen with a magnifying glass...
