I recently attempted a fresh install of GHC (haskell) on my system (Dell XPS 16)
When building haskell executables, I get dependency problems in the linking stage. Doesn't matter if using a cabal-sandbox or not.
# ghc Main.hs
Linking Main ...
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lHSbase-4.9.1.0
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lHSinteger-gmp-1.0.0.1
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lHSghc-prim-0.5.0.0
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lHSrts
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
`gcc' failed in phase `Linker'. (Exit code: 1)
The related packages are apperently installed:
# ls /usr/lib/ghc-8.0.2/ | grep 'base\|integer\|ghc-prim\|rts'
base-4.9.1.0
ghc-prim-0.5.0.0
integer-gmp-1.0.0.1
rts
# pacman -Q ghc
ghc 8.0.2-2
Does someone else have this problem?
