I've just installed Arch on my old MBP 8,1. Followed the wiki and had no issues; however, there is one quirk I can't seem to figure out. Whenever I connect my laptop the power cable, and the laptop is off, it turns on. I know that in macOS, I could have the system automatically restart after a power failure (i.e., power is applied), but I don't know what the Linux equivalent is.

Does it power on even if you have done a clean shutdown previously? In my case, it only does so when there has been a crash due to it running out of power.
