My Setup:
Athlon XP 2000 (oced to 2600)
GeForce 6800
1GB RAM
Kernel 2.6.16.20 w/ Suspend 2 patch
Problem:
Nexuiz (glx) hangs randomly during play (not just the program, the whole comp, i cant even connect to the ssh server..)
This happens without any overclocks and its not overheating cause It overheated before and the comp just restarts..

The devs recommend you use the sdl executable, try that and see if it's any better.

Same thing happened to me with the same video card. Its also happening in bzflag, which used to run fine for me. I'm blaming either the current nvidia drivers or SDL. Any ideas?

Ok, I tried downgrading nvidia to 1.0.8178-16 (the old compile your own package) and it still locked up. I also tried the beyond kernel with the latest nvidia packages. This is still bzflag, but I'll assume the problems are related. I hate these hard reboots
I don't know what else to guess at, maybe SDL.
