First of all, could you use code tags to make it more readable? Moreover, I think asking for an email instead of an answer in the forums is less helpful for people that have a similar problem (possibly in the future).
It is not strange that gnome got restarted after the crash of gjs, because a lot depends on that. We need some more details to help you out. What is the full dmesg log? Xorg log? Intel or modesetting? Other special hardware of interest (e.g. external monitor)? Do you have an updated system without third party repos? What do you do in particular just before the crash?

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Co … s_and_code
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Co … way_street
man coredumpctl
And always search the forum first, there're tons of threads about this now.
It's typically some offending 3rd party / non-stock extension that causes this.
A coredump *might* provide more insight into it.

And always search the forum first, there're tons of threads about this now.
It's typically some offending 3rd party / non-stock extension that causes this.
A coredump *might* provide more insight into it.
Thank you for ur advice, Sir!!!
I posted it .... plz help~ T T

no sir, I just opened "User Themes" and "System Monitor", for last night I closed "User Themes", and temporarily since I closed it, gnome-shell did not crash out yet...
I did install something like "weather applet" once, but I uninstalled it one month ago...

My haven't crashed as well since I rebuild it with debug info. Might have been compiler bug or too aggressive optimization?
Offline
More like "overflow rescued by the debug symbol strings" - it's a heisenbug.
However, valgrind should be the heisenberg compensator here - it won't crash, but complain about bad memory access, in case.

You need to restart gnome-shell after replacing gjs, but this can be some unexported function (ie. it has no name)
You'd have to compile with gdwarf2, but i don't know at hand whether and how this works with pkgbuild ...

God, having this issue on all my systems. I don't even have gnome-system-monitor (which seems to make the crashes happen more often).

Remove or deactivate all extensions.
See whether the issue remains.
If not, re-activate one half of them.
See whether the issue returned.
If not, re-activate one half of the remaining extensions - if yes, de-activate half of the extensions you just activated.
This way you can bisect yourself to one offender. If there're multiples, you'll have to repeat this (without the known offenders)
Since your last trace (and the OPs one) cross libmozjs, you may try building js38 debug enabled

Thanks seth; this is what i did (might help others):
svn checkout --depth=empty svn://svn.archlinux.org/packages
cd packages
svn update js38
cd js38/trunk
vim PKGBUILD # change options to (!staticlibs debug)
makepkg
sudo pacman -U js38-debug-38.8.0-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
Then restarted

Issue reproduced, seems another kind, what should i recompile as debug here ? gjs apparently doesn't compile a debug variant.
Program terminated with signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
