Viewing html with "Links" in Newsbeuter/Mutt

Hey all.

What do I need to put into my configuration for applications like mutt and newsbeuter to view html with the Links text browser?

The wiki shows w3m and lynx examples but I want to use links. I've fiddled with it but I can't seem to make it work.

Current line in newsbeuter:

html-renderer "links -dump -codepage UTF-8 -width 90 -force-html -html-margin 9"

I've omitted and added different options trying to make it work, but I'm obviously missing something, or putting in some option that is breaking it.

look at

links -help | grep -iE '(codepage|dump|width|force|margin)'

and compare that to

lynx -help | grep -iE '(codepage|dump|width|force|margin)'

Do you spot a difference that could cause the above to break?
