Touchpad Tap-To-Click problem with 'libinput'

Hello,

I have problem with my touchpad using 'libinput'. I tried using 'synaptics' but not fixed. I completely removed 'synaptics' package. I can't use my touchpad's hardware buttons (left and right).

Libinput Version: xf86-input-libinput 0.25.1-1
Synaptics: error: package 'xf86-input-synaptics' was not found.

My Xorg configuration for touchpad (I also tried with uncommenting TappingButtonMap option)

Section "InputClass"
	Identifier "touchpad"
	Driver "libinput"
	MatchIsTouchpad "on"
	Option "Tapping" "on"
#	Option "TappingButtonMap" "lmr"
EndSection

Still I can't use my hardware buttons in touchpad. My 1 before Arch installation touchpad worked but after re-installing Arch its not work.

Re: Touchpad Tap-To-Click problem with 'libinput'

In Xorg log there is a line:

libinput: Synaptics s3203: Failed to create a device for /dev/input/mouse0

Maybe this is the problem?

Re: Touchpad Tap-To-Click problem with 'libinput'

If you have not tried already ...

See here on how to create a custom.conf   arch wiki

and here will also be of use  libinput4
