Chromium Freezes when Dialog Boxes Open (Random)

Anyone else experiencing this issue? Noticed it happening lately. Doesn't happen all the time, but it happens only when a dialog box opens (saving a file, or some event that opens a dialog box, etc...)

It becomes unresponsive and I have to X out. Nothing in the Journal that I can see but I will update as I find more information.

Otherwise, do you have any remote filesystems in fstab or a bad optical disc in your DvD drive etc.?

Yea, KDE/Plasma. No remote filesystems in fstab and I can't remember the last time I used my DvD drive, but thanks for that link, I'll have a read and update if I find a solution.

***EDIT*** Read through that thread... it talks about KDE notifications being one of the problems, which isn't exactly what I'm experiencing; for me, it's only chromium that freezes up, nothing else is affected. Still troubleshooting...will update
